Blackout curtains are made with a fabric that is effective at blocking light out. Without any extra chemical coatings, blackout curtains will block out 85-97% of light. Curtains with a chemical coating can be added to block out 100% of light.
A rod pocket is a sleeve across the top of a curtain or top treatment into which you slip the curtain rod.
Our curtains are constructed of easy-care materials and are machine washable. Please follow our care instructions to extend the life of your curtains.
For proper fullness, order curtain pair widths that are approximately double the width of your window. For wider windows, order an extra pair of regular width curtains. The bottom edge of your curtain should fall to the floor. Leave about 1 cm of clearance.
Remember: You’re measuring the curtain pole or track NOT the window.
Measure from the top of the pole to desired length.
